CLINICAL PLACEMENT PARTNERSHIPS

Hands-on clinical exposure is a core part of PMTC’s training model. Trainees complete supervised clinical attachments with partner institutions, tracked through a standardised set of forms covering attendance, clinical skills, case exposure, and preceptor sign-off.

• Ghana National Ambulance Service (NAS): PMTC’s primary clinical placement partner, hosting EMT trainees for structured clinical attachment under the oversight of NAS’s Medical Director. Placement is tracked using an attendance log, skills checklist, case log, preceptor evaluation, and formal sign-off.
• Benedict Hospital: Hospital-based clinical placement partner extending trainees’ clinical exposure beyond ambulance-based care.
• Kumawu Government Polyclinic: Clinical placement partner providing trainees with additional supervised patient-care exposure.

These partnerships give PMTC graduates practical, supervised experience that strengthens their readiness for certification, registration, and employment — domestically and internationally.
